Timothy Sean Pettus, 57, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. He was born on May 3, 1962, to Arthur Clarence “AC” Pettus III and Lillian Enlow Pettus. He was a master of all trades and excellent at everything he did. He had a love for construction work. He served in the National Guard for ten plus years. Mr. Pettus spent his last working years with Monroe County Road maintenance crew. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his family. He loved Friday nights listening to and singing old country music. He was a Baptist and served his Lord.
He leaves behind his daughters Lori Harris (Denton) of Aberdeen, MS, Ashley Pettus of Aberdeen, Ashley Chaney of Columbus, MS, Cathy Cole Chaney of Colorado and Crystal Roberts of Georgia, one brother Shawn Pettus (Daniella) of Texas, grandchildren Sean, Mason, Blaine, Drew , Morgan and Callie, a host of nieces and nephews and one special person that stayed by his side Gerald Shannon Pettus II. He was preceded in death by his father, his brothers Mark, Michael, Jerry and Randy and a son Tim Chaney.
- Visitation will be Friday, February 7, 2020, from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home.
- Services will be Saturday, February 8, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
- Bro. Mark Thornton will be officiating.
- Burial will be in Friendship Baptist Cemetery.
- Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen is in charge of the arrangements.
- Pallbearers will be Denton Harris, Clay Jones and Michael Dodds. Jr.
