NETTLETON – Colleen Tucker Pickle, 70, died at her residence in Nettleton on Friday, March 6, 2020 after a six-year illness. The youngest of seven children born to Cecil and Geneva Langston Tucker, Colleen was born July 12, 1949 in Oseola, Arkansas. She moved to Nettleton 37 years ago and has made her home there until her death. Her early life was interesting, to say the least. She held several jobs including traveling with the circus, working in Idaho, attending the Police Academy, and anything that would help her make a living for her family, who were very dear to her.  At age 31, she was saved and very faithfully followed the Lord as a Godly woman until her death. A member of New Vision Church in Nettleton, she had an excellent tenor voice, enjoyed singing in the choir and in area churches and sang with the Main St. Opry. She finished out her working career before retiring due to poor health in the health care industry including serving as a home aid for Traceway Retirement Community and as a CNA with home health.

A service celebrating her life will be held at 6 PM Monday, March 9, 2020 at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo Chapel with Bro. Bobby Allread officiating.  Visitation will be from 4 PM-6PM Monday only. Holland Funeral Directors and Cremations is honored to be serving their friends.

Colleen is survived by her two children, Nena Hall and Nicky Hall, both of Nettleton; her grandchildren, Smantha DeLoach (Matt), Daniel Holley, Ebony Fields, Malaki Beane, and Chyenne Hall; her four grandchildren, Tyler Deloach, Bently DeLoach, Sterlyn Holley, and Mia Holley; her siblings, Bonneil Claude of Arkansas, Cecil Tucker, Boyd Tucker, and  Tommy Tucker. She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, LaJoy Tucker, and Burie Tucker, and her granddaughter, Alexis Hall.
