PONTOTOC – Tony "Poppa Duck" Lee Priest, 48, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at his home, surrounded by family, after a very long fight with cancer. No more fight, he is healed. He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He loved fishing, camping, watching his little boy play ball and watching wrestling. He loved his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Priest; sons, Blake Priest, Michael Patterson, Michael Priest, and William Priest; daughters, Lacey Russell, Shea Godwin, and Breanna Learn; mother, Martha Kennedy; and sisters, Melissa Bean and Penny DeMary.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Wayne Kennedy; brother, Joseph Wayne Kennedy, Jr; and his grandparents, R.T. and Mary Grammer and Dexter and Verdie Kennedy.
Services will be Sunday, March 8, 2020 at 2PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Billy Moody officiating. Burial will follow in Schooner Valley Baptist Church.
Pallbearers: Lance Doss, Dewey Smith, Anthony Smith, and Jr. Akers; Honorary Pallbearers: Brandon Patterson, Blake Priest, Kris Duke, Michael Stewart, Joel Harrison, Steve Duke and Steven Crockett.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 7,5Pm-8PM and Sunday, March 8, 1PM until service time.
