PONTOTOC – Dewey "Pete" Rayburn Tutor, 86, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Pontotoc Health and Rehab. He worked in construction for many years before returning to factory work at Holley Carburetor where he retired in the early 90s. Throughout his retirement he enjoyed visiting with neighbors and friends, bird hunting with his dog, and bass fishing in his younger years.
He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Winterer(Max) of Pontotoc; his son, Ledane Tutor(Stacy) of Ellensburg, WA; sister, Wilma Swanson of Bruce; five grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Huey Tutor; father, Dewey Ottis Tutor; and daughter, Nita Gail Tutor.
A graveside service will be 12PM, Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Oak Forest Cemetery with Bro. Scotty Bland officiating.
