PONTOTOC – Glenda Bass Kerr, 68, passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 in Tupelo, MS. She was a member of Hughes Chapel Baptist Church. She loved life and enjoyed fishing, shopping, her grandchildren, motorcycle riding, and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Loyd Kerr; one daughter, Bobby Powell of Pontotoc; one son, Alan Kerr of Statesboro, GA and daughter-in-law, Rachel Kerr; one son-in-law, Garrett Ellington of Lake Butler, FL; granddaughters, Bailee Peoples of Middleburg, FL, Maddee Peoples of Panama, FL, Realan Kerr of Statesboro, GA, Tess Ellington, Cheyenne Peoples, and Corey Powell; grandsons, Broady Kerr of Statesboro, GA, and Cameron Kerr of St Pete, FL; and sisters, Lea Voyles, Lottie Norman, Betty Bass, Joyce Scroggins, and Jeanette Stacks.
She is preceded in death by her daughters, Shannon Ellington and Candice Kerr; sister, Agnes Tipton; brothers, Ottis Bass. Bayward Bass, and James Bass; father, James Cecil Bass and her mother, Mary Catherine McCollum Bass.
Private family services will be Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 11AM at Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Mike Johnson officiating. Public graveside service to follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Brian Spencer, Keith Bass, Daniel Bass, Anthony Reich, Dustin Vaughn, and Bayward Boykin.
