Mrs. Cathy Lynn Smith Nabors, 48, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. Lynn Nabors was born in Houston, Mississippi on August 24, 1971 to Thomas Eli Smith and Elizabeth Ann Walls. She was the office manager at Leggett and Platt for 22 years. She also was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church. She thoroughly enjoyed crafting and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was also avid Mississippi State fan.

A private family funeral service and burial was held at Macedonia United Methodist Church in Houston, Mississippi with Bro. Steve Lampkin, and Bro. Kevin Lindley officiating.

Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Lynn Nabors is survived by her parents, Tommy and Ann Smith of Houston; one son, Mykkie (Shana) Smith of Houston; two daughters, Ashley (James) Nabors and Megan Nabors both of Houston; one brother, Chris Smith of Houston; her mother-in-law, Sandy Nabors (Ed) Moore, and her sisters-in-law, Tabatha Nabors and Teresa Batton; three special grandchildren, Damion and Gabby Haig, and Ryan- Garrett Smith; a special aunt, Frankie Sue Smith of Houston; four special childhood cousins, Kenneth (Adele) Yearby and Joe (Christy) Yearby both of Columbus, Tiffany (Mark) Allen of Georgia, and Angie (Alan) Campbell of Tennessee; a host of nieces and nephews; and her much loved church family of Macedonia United Methodist Church.

Lynn Nabors was preceded in death by her beloved late husband, Henry Clay “Roundman” Nabors; her grandparents, Sam and Sara Walls, and Polly and Henry Frank Smith; and her father-in-law, Henry Nabors.

Pallbearers will be Shane Booth, “Rooster” Gann, Hyman Ivy, Doyle Booth, Jr., David Ray Smith, Kerry Abrams, Ricky Makamson, and James Winstead.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Len Price.
