Mrs. Sondra Davis, 78 years old, went to be with her Heavenly Father Saturday, April 18, 2020, at Hermitage Garden Estates in Oxford, Mississippi. A private graveside service will be held at North Oxford Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Scott Thomas officiating. A Celebration of Life to be held at a later time for family and friends. Waller Funeral Home is in charge or arrangements.
She was born to the late Lester Earl Braddy and Erma Thornton Braddy on April 7, 1942. Mrs. Davis worked as a paralegal for many years and then transitioned to The University of Mississippi as the Sports Information Secretary. From there she went to the Law School where she was secretary for the Dean of Law School and finally retiring from the Loyalty Foundation. She was an active member of North Oxford Baptist Church where she served on the floral committee and church choir. She also was a member of The Pilot Club where she eventually served as president.
Survivors include her husband, Reed Davis of Oxford, Mississippi, son, Richie and Hope Davis of Hernando, Mississippi, and daughters DeLisa Davis of Oxford, Mississippi, as well as Katrina Davis Cousar and Jeff Cousar of Oxford, Mississippi. Grandchildren are Morgan Davis Foshee, Trenton Davis, Zachary Cousar, Presley Cousar and Reece Cousar as well as two great-grandsons, Rhett Foshee and Zayne Cousar.
