On April 17, 2020 Robert James (Bulldog) Bradley, Loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin,and friend to many passed away peacefully at his home in Flint, MI. Robert was born September 7, 1948 in Baldwyn, MS to the late Elbert and Vina Bradley. He was the youngest of 5 siblings whom preceded him in death. He was baptized at Mt. Nebo C.M.E church in Baldwyn, MS at an early age and remained an active member as a child/young adult. He completed his formal education at Lee Prentiss High School in Baldwyn, MS. Upon completing high school Robert relocated to Flint, MI and began his career working for Fisher Body and Buick City, a division of General Motors where he worked for 33 plus years until he retired. Robert had a passion for people, but his life passion was his courtship and marital union to his (Bay) Jessie Barnett Bradley for 49 years. To this union two sons were born ChaRon, and Chevez.To know Robert is to love Robert and if you knew him you knew he lived every moment to the fullest!!Neither hard times nor health challenges could rob him of who he was and he will always be remembered as a loving, selfless, and a super dad. He enjoyed socializing with friends, fishing, dancing, music (blues),collecting antique cars, and Boston Celtic basketball. Robert treasured his family like no other and took pride in attending every single family reunion. Robert had two places he called home one in Flint Michigan and the other in Baldwyn, MS. He had just as many friends in Flint as he had family in Baldwyn. In Flint he was a member of Metropolitan Baptist Tabernacle Church for over 50 years. He was active in his community block club. During the summers he enjoyed gardening and sharing the harvest with friends and family. While in Baldwyn, he participated in many community events, and worked at Agnew and Sons Funeral Home. Supported and attended the town’s high school ball games. He has so many nieces and nephews in Baldwyn all the kids in town just knew him as "Uncle Robert and if they saw him in the store he would always buy them snacks or give them some change. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, he is loved beyond words, and will be missed beyond measure. Mr. Robert Bradley leaves to cherish his memories a loving devoted wife of 49 years, Jessie Barnett Bradley, 2 sons: ChaRon Bradley of Flint, MI, Chevez Bradley of Lawrenceville, GA, grandson, Chavon Bradley of Chicago, IL; 3 sisters-in-law Evelyn Scales, Roberta Barnett, all of Baldwyn, MS, and Freddie Ruth Bradley of Milwaukee, WI; 2 brother-in-law’s George(Elaine) Barnett and Wilma(Katoris) Barnett of Baldwyn, MS; Special nephew Johnny(Paulette) Agnew of Baldwyn, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, god-children including special friends; Charles Ross, Robert Dunnom, Willie Turner, James Lynch, and Bernard Wright. Mr. Bradley was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Charlie Bradley and Gus Bradley: sisters Blanche Brown, Clara Tramel, and Lena Mae Agnew (sister/cousin) and a special niece, Cheryl Y. Brown
