Bettye Clyde Ohrem, 78, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born in Booneville, MS, on February 24, 1942, to Wiliam Clyde Moore and Elva Alice Fitzsimmons Moore. She worked many years as a beautician when she lived in Cicero, Ill. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, crocheting, gardening, and cooking. She loved her cats, horses, and hummingbirds.

The family will hold a private graveside service at Blackland Cemetery. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas F. Ohrem, whom she married on August 31, 1973; two daughters, Tracey Franklin and Cara King (Randy), all of Booneville; grandchildren, Andrew Franklin, Adam Franklin, Cassie Gray, Jesse King (Tana), and Jake King; great-grandchildren, Whitley Kay King and Alastor Simms; sister-in-law, Judy Owens Moore of Booneville; one niece, Chrystal Moore Stroupe (Joe) of Booneville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bill Moore.
