HOULKA – John "BOO" Turley, 63, passed away May 5, 2020 at NMMC-Tupelo, MS. John was a farmer for fifteen years of his childhood and adult life and a truck driver until retirement. He was a member of the Evansville Baptist Church in Coldwater, MS. He loved his family, spending time outdoors, and tinkering.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Turley (Houlka, MS); three daughters, Amy Turley, Leslie Turley, and Holly Turley (all of Coldwater, MS); two sons, Jake Wilson and Natasha, and Wally Wilson (both of Houlka, MS); one brother, Clay Well Turley and Angela (Atlanta, GA); one sister, Lana McIver and Bo (Coldwater, MS); five grandchildren, Emanuel Williams, KJ Lewis, Jordyn Ealy, Jaedyn Ealy, and Ayla Ealy; five great nieces, Haley Thomas, Hannah Cox, Kendra Evans, Valeigh Evans, and Ivy Evans; and one great nephew, J.J. Thomas.
He is preceded in death by his father, John "Dee" Turley (2012) and his mother, Nellie "Murr" Dye (2019).
A family visitation will be Saturday, May 9, 2020, 11AM-2PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc.
