Frances Cordelia Gant Jones, 85, died May 13, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born August 8, 1934 in Alcorn Co. MS to the late Elby Elisha Gant and Artie Elizabeth Young Gant. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a retired waitress for many years at several local restaurants in Corinth. She enjoyed gardening, working with her flowers, reading and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Jones; sons, Joseph Michael “Red” Jones, Vernon Jones (Marcia); parents; great grandson, Landon Marsh; brothers, Reginald Gant, Robert Gant, Hershel Gant; sisters, Mary Stanley, Juanita Hutchins, Nellie Wallin, Myrtle Gant; son-in-law's, Tommy Marsh, Charles Pettigrew, and Wayne Glidewell.

She is survived by her sons; James Jones (Teresa), Reggie Jones (Carolyn), Brian Jones; daughters, Rhonda Stevens (Talbert “Bubba”), Deborah Glidewell, Donna Pettigrew (Michael Dodge); Daughter-in-law, Grace Jones; grandchildren Brandon Wilbanks (Susan), Michelle Graves, Forrest Graves (Memori), Jessie Wilbanks (Zach), Michael Jones (Shanda), Dan Marsh, Amanda Marsh (Javeed Jalla), Joe Marsh (Jodie), Chris Spencer (Lisa), Candice Brockman (Daniel), Joey Spencer (Vicki), Josh Jones (Lauren), Tyler Jones (Morgan), Sarry-Ann Jones, Colby Jones (Brianna), Kayla Edlin (Rob); 18 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Private family Graveside service for Frances will be held Saturday at Magnolia Gardens.
