PONTOTOC – Virgil Elaine Edwards, 75, passed away May 21, 2020 at NMMC Gilmore-Amory, MS. She attended Algoma High School. She worked as a hairdresser, at Action Manufacturing, and owned and operated Midway Grocery for years. She loved working in her flowers, dogs, cats, horses and all animals.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Edwards; daughter, Connie Taylor; sons, Jeff Grant and Bill Edwards; 3 grandsons; 2 great-grandsons; sisters, Martha Jo Huffman(Bob) and Brenda Newell.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Mildred Stegall; brother, Bobby Dean Stegall; and sister, Annette Gober.
Graveside Service will be Sunday, May 24, 2020 at 2PM at Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Bro. Huffman officiating.
Pallbearers: Chad Harlow, Dan McKnight, Danny McKnight, Mickey McKnight, Brad Mayo, and Tyler Cruz.
