NEW ALBANY – Martin Greif, 69, formerly of Aurora, IL, passed away June 10, 2020 at his home in New Albany, MS. Loving his family and friends was most important to him. He was "the best" at fixing any vehicle and sometimes even over the phone. He loved being a help to others. He loved his wife and longed for the day to meet her in heaven.
He is survived by his children, Bryan Drees, Christien Hill, Eleanor Bowling, Mindy Greif and Matthew Greif; grandchildren, Tarrie Drees, Jade Shields, James Greif, Jenette Gord, Bryan Drees, Alicia Long, Carl Long, Jason Long, Aubrie Hooker, and Kaylee Rodgers; great-grandchildren, Kyler Drees and Kyle Drees; brother and sisters, Bonnie Johnson, Connie Hill, and Gary Greif.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lynette Greif; daughter, Brandy Gord; and parents, Martin J. Greif and Eleanor B. Greif.
Services will be Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 12PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Don Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Jason Hill, Mikey Spurlin, Tommy Taylor, Austin Taylor, James Greif, and Bryan Drees.
Visitation will be Friday, June 12, 5-8PM and Saturday, June 13, 11AM until service time.
