Jaylin Ka‘mel Sexton, age 19, of Water Valley, MS died Thursday, June 11, 2020, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born December 12, 2000, in Batesville, MS to Kevin Braxton and Melissa Nellum. Jaylin was full of energy and met life head-on. He is described as always having been the life of the party. Jaylin loved the outdoors, and when he wasn’t fishing, he could be found playing basketball, or just hanging out with his friends.

A graveside service is planned for Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Holcomb, MS with visitation starting an hour before. Pastor Carl Ray will be officiating.

Jaylin leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Melissa Nellum, three brothers, Kameron Nellum, Ta’najja Nellum, Kevin Braxton; two sisters, Ta’mia Nellum, Kiarra Salley; as well as other family and friends who loved him dearly.
