CAROLINA COMMUNITY – Katheryn Kyle Shelton, 90, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020, at Tupelo Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born February 17, 1930, in Itawamba County to Wiley Martin and Mary Pauline Duncan Kyle. She, along with her husband, owned and operated J.A. Shelton Transfer and Storage in Memphis for many years. She was a Baptist in belief and enjoyed traveling with her husband.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 13, at Keyes Cemetery with Bro. Joseph Jones officiating. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include one brother, Carroll Kyle (Terrena) of Pontotoc; one sister, Faye Ellen Conley (Jimmy) of Poplar Bluff, MO; two grandsons, Jeffrey Shelton and Jake Shelton; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Shelton; her two sons, Carl Anthony Shelton and Jeffrey Allen Shelton; three sisters, Jamie Underwood, Martha Corrine Kyle, and Sybil June Kyle; and three brothers, Gaither Kyle, Hugh Kyle, and Martin Eldridge Kyle.

Pallbearers will be Scott Kyle, Jay Kyle, Junior McMillen, David Underwood, Jake Shelton, and Brady Kyle.
