William "Bill" Lester Whiteside, 73, passed away Monday, June 15, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. He loved race car driving, fishing, football, gospel music and watching his grandchildren play ball. He cherished time with his wife and family. He will be greatly missed.
Services will be at 3:00pm Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at Green Valley Baptist Church. Bro. Brian Sansing will officiate. Burial will be in the Jernigan Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors-wife Mary; children-William Lee Whiteside "Bill" (Jennifer) and Misty Whiteside Lucas (Nobel Wayne); grandchildren-
Brandy Whiteside, Gabrielle McKeown (David), Summer Whiteside, Dalton Whiteside, Haylee Whiteside and Cameron Vandygriff; six great grandchildren; siblings-Donna Williams, Randy Whiteside and Mark Whiteside; step children-Wayne Doss (Brandi), Jeremy Doss (Brandy) and Amanda Hamblin (Brad); step grandchildren-Jolee Doss, Madison Doss, Eden Doss, Houston Doss, Graham Doss, Mary Doss, Chandler Hamblin and Dosson Hamblin.
Preceded in death by-parents-James Whiteside "Jimmy" and Margaret Whiteside; siblings-Rick, Margaret Ann "Maggie" and Jerry Whiteside.
Pallbearers-Chandler Hamblin, Dosson Hamblin, Houston Doss, Jake Britt, Harlon Hamblin, L.D. Gillespie and Jimmy Flake.
Visitation-1:00pm until service time Wednesday, June 17, 2020.
