Mr. Ronald Glenn Bennett, 64, died Saturday, June 20, 2020 in Oxford, MS. The graveside service will be held at a later date in Abbeville Cemetery in Abbeville, MS with Rev. Randy Hope officiating. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Oxford, MS, Ronald graduated form the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor’s degree. He was a Recreation Specialist with a heart for coaching. He loved Jesus and anything sports related. Ronald attended First Baptist Church in Abbeville, MS. He liked to travel and traveled extensively, living in Texas, Hawaii, Wisconsin, Louisiana and Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe J. Bennett and a sister, Debra Bennett.
Ronald is survived by his mother, Dorothy Ann Bennett; sisters, Sandra Bennett Jackson and Tracy Bennett Coleman and her husband, Chad; brothers, Mike Bennett and his wife, Lisa and Brian Bennett and his wife, Maria; step-mother, Betty M. Bennett – all of Oxford, MS; eight nieces and nephews and 7 great nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Ronald’s memory may be made to the Baptist Children’s Village, 114 Marketridge Drive, Ridgeland, MS 39157.
