William Bradley Howell,41, departed from this life on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at his residence in Bruce after a sudden decline in health. Born on September 26, 1978, in Oxford, Bradley was a son to the late William Jessie Howell and Linda Rae Murphree Smith.

Bradley, a lifelong Calhoun County resident, was a member of the Bruce High School Class of 1997. He was employed with the City of Bruce Maintenance Department for many years until his recent decline in health. Bradley was an avid outdoorsman who thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bradley knew the Lord and His promise of eternal life and worshipped when he was able at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.

Bradley is survived by a loving family that will carry his warm memory in their hearts for the rest of their days: one son, Will Howell of Bruce; two daughters: Lilly Howell and Lylla Howell of Bruce; and one brother, Bom (Anita) Blackwelder of Bruce.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Jessie Howell and Linda Rae Murphree Smith; brother, Jeff Lee Blackwelder; paternal grandparents, Earl and Opal Howell; and maternal grandparents, Ray and Lorene Murphree.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce from 5:00-8:00 PM. A funeral service remembering Bradley's life will take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, in the sanctuary of Pleasant Ridge Baptist church beginning at 10:00 AM. Bro. Kevin Chrestman and Bro. Will Turner will officiate the service. Dan Hardin, Brad Hubbard, Michael Joe Lee, Jonathan Lenard, Robert Mata, Eric Parker, Chris Thornton, Charlie Vanlandingham., and Evan Weeks will carry Bradley to his final resting place in Oak Springs Cemetery. Chad Cain, Chris Hillhouse, Bucky Lee, Jeff Lee, and Scott Oakley will serve as honorary pallbearers.
