Ms. Earnestine Rogers, 87, transitioned on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at her residence in Water Valley, MS. She was born on May 30, 1933 in Canton, MS, to the late Henry Johnson and Marie Hodges. She was a member of the Morning Star M.B. Church in East St. Louis, MO. She worked many years as an EKG Lab supervisor for St. Mary's Hospital in East St. Louis. She was a very loving person with a very sweet spirit.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories one daughter: Lorna Berry of Water Valley, MS. Three sons: David Rodgers of St. Louis, MO, Kevin Johnson of Chicago, IL and Dennis Rodgers of O'Fallon, IL. She also leaves six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She also leaves a host of other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at 12 Noon at Mt. Carmel on 10101 West Main in Belleville, IL. Serenity-Daniels Funeral Home of Water Valley is in charge of the arrangements.
