Velma Jane Jenkins “Beb” Coggins, died Thursday, July 2, 2020, at Baptist Hospital in Columbus, MS. She was born on August 7, 1952, in Memphis, TN to Arnold Jenkins and Viola Bourland. She was a life long resident of Monroe County. She was a retired hairdresser. Ms. Coggins was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church in Hamilton, MS.
She is survived by her husband Hubert Coggins of Aberdeen, one daughter Kathie Sprayberry of Hamilton; one son Shay Sprayberry of Hamilton, MS; three grandchildren Corey Trice, Dustin Sprayberry and Laura Sprayberry Hemphill and two sisters Debbie Bennett of Fulton, MS and Sandy Romer of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Steven Sprayberry and two brothers Johnny and Jimmy Jenkins.
- There will be a Memorial Service Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at 3:00 P.M. at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Moore officiating. Burial will be in Egger Cemetery.
- Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge of the arrangements.
- Visitation will be Tuesday, July 7, 2020, from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
