Linda Jean Blount, 66, of Calhoun City departed to claim her glorious hope on July 07, 2020 at Oxford Health and Rehab in Oxford, Mississippi. Linda was welcomed into this world on October 24, 1953 in Grenada, Mississippi. She was a daughter to John F. Bardo and the late Alethea Mae Perry Bardo.
Linda, a woman with an eye for design, found joy in helping people re-decorate their homes. With the same eye for design, she delighted in the elegant beauty of flowers and their many different varieties. Not only did she have the skills for interior design, but she also possessed the traits it took to run a business. Linda, alongside her husband A.D., was a co-owner of Med-Lift and Mobility Incorporated. With sheer elation, she held a special place in her heart for her sweet daughter and loving grandchildren. Above her hobbies, business, and family; Linda adored her savior, Jesus Christ, where she worshiped Him at Grace Fellowship Church in Calhoun City, Mississippi. Though she has gone to rest in a sacred place free from sickness; Linda will be profoundly missed by her loving family and friends.
Those left carry her memory include: devoted husband, A.D. Blount of Calhoun City, Mississippi; daughter, Alison (Justin) Nichols of Calhoun City, Mississippi; three grandchildren: Bella Nichols, Abby Nichols, and Dawson Nichols of Calhoun City, Mississippi; father, John F. Bardo of Big Creek, Mississippi; sister, Cathy (Chris) McGee of Big Creek, Mississippi; two sisters-in-law: Sharon Bardo of Big Creek, Mississippi; Wynette Blount of Opp, Alabama; host of nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Alethea Mae Perry Blount; brother, John “Pete” Bardo.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 10, 2020, from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM at Grace Fellowship Church. The Funeral Service remembering Linda's life will take place on Friday, July 10, 2020, at 3:00 PM in the sanctuary of Grace Fellowship Church. Bro. Jimmy Bryan will officiate the service. Cliff Bardo, George Bardo, Daniel Blount, Reginald Brand, David Crocker, Kenny Dismuke, Chris McGee, and Joey Simmons will carry Linda to rest in Pinecrest Memorial Garden.
