Services to celebrate the life of Vivian Essary Mask, 84, will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday at Memorial Funeral with burial to follow in Tippah Shiloh Cemetery. Bro. Charles Stephenson will officiate the services.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:30 PM and Saturday from 12 noon until service time at Memorial Funeral Home.

She departed this life on July 9, 2020 at Mississippi Care Center. She was born in Alcorn County on March 23, 1936 to the late Lee and Ola Essary. She attended school at the Pisgah School. She was the Headstart bus driver at Kossuth for almost 20 years and was a caregiver for a few years after. She was a Christian and a member of South Corinth Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, singing and dancing.

She is survived by her son; Jerry Wayne Mask & wife Loretta; daughter, Patricia “Trish” Mask Shortnacy; and grandchildren, Josh Kelly, Keith and Michael Shortnacy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Mask; brothers, Troy, Clovis and Leonard Essary; sisters, Eva Price, Faye Jackson, Imogene Young and Virginia Roberts and a grandson Steven Franklin Cornelius.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Price, David Price, Josh Kelly, Michael Shortnacy, Fred Sowell, Ernie Roberts and Keith Young.
