Kathy Ann Humphres (47) passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020 at LaConte Medical Center in Sevierville, TN. She was a member of First Independent Baptist Church in Pratts. She enjoyed cooking, camping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Services will be 3 pm Sunday, July 12, 2020 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Toby Mears officiating. Visitation will be 5-9 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Old Friendship Cemetery.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 20+ years, Dossie Humphres of New Site; her sons, Dossie Wayne Humphres, Clayton Humphres and Payton Humphres of New Site; her daughter, Bobbie Odom (Bobby) of Belmont; her brother, Clinton Hayden (Maria) of Marietta; her sister, Christy Pounds (Danny) of Marietta; her mother, Patsy Hayden of Marietta; her grandchildren, Ellie, Thomas "Bubba" and RJ Wheelington of Belmont and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Hayden; her grandchild, Baby Wheelington and her grandparents, Clinton E. & Bonnie Stacy and Roy & Lera Hayden.

Dear Humphres family, deepest sympathy in this time of bereavement. Death can cause great sorrow and pain but our loving God gives us hope. In his word the Bible at Act 24:15 it says there is going to be a resurrection, a loving promise from God, that you will see your loved one again.
