Patricia Crutchfield White, 70, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi departed for her eternal home on July 14, 2020, at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg. Born on September 13, 1949, in Calhoun City, Patricia was a daughter to the late Timothy M. Crutchfield and Eula Mae Jones Crutchfield.

Patricia was a homemaker who spent her days selflessly looking after her family. She found solace in decorating; seeing all the details of a theme come together brought her joy. Patricia loved art in every unique design that could be offered. Reading brought her tranquility; Patricia enjoyed the stories that came to life while getting lost in a book. She did not simply pass away, Patricia held in her soul the cure to death, a relationship with Jesus where she worshipped Him at Verona Baptist Church.

Those left to hold her memory in their hearts include: husband, James Lawrence White of Hattiesburg, Mississippi;  son, Jordan Drew White of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; sisters: Virginia Lofton of Calhoun City, Mississippi, and Betty Clark of Chicago, Illinois; brothers: Bobby Joe Crutchfield of Big Creek, Mississippi, and Steve Crutchfield of Vicksburg, Mississippi.

Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Mark White; parents, Timothy M. Crutchfield and Eula Mae Jones Crutchfield; sister, Martha Gilo; brothers: T.C. Crutchfield, Bill Crutchfield, Jimmy Crutchfield, Ruble Crutchfield, Hosea Crutchfield, Glenn Crutchfield, Willis Crutchfield, and Ben Crutchfield.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 17, 2020, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce. The funeral service remembering Patricia’s life will take place on Friday, July 17, 2020, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. David Hamilton officiating the service. Jeff Clark, Phil Lucius, Cory Vance, Bobby Weaver, David White, and Don White will carry her to rest in Pinecrest Memorial Garden. Darrian Chandler and Jay Griffin will serve as honorary pallbearers.
