Mary Boyce Ransom, age 86, died Monday, July 20, 2020, at Monroe County Hospital in Aberdeen. She was born June 4, 1934, to William M. Lackey and Jimmie Lackey in Aberdeen. She was a lifelong resident of Aberdeen where she was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Aberdeen High School and Draughn Business College.
Survivors include one son, Jerry Ransom of Aberdeen, MS: nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lee Alvis Ransom; and one son, Ronnie Lee Ransom.
- Visitation will be from 10:00 until service time, Friday, July 24, 2020 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
- Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 24, 2020, in the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen.
- Bro. Jack Inmon will be officiating.
- Burial will be in Oddfellows Rest Cemetery.
Hello Random Family I am sorry for your loss and would like to share a scripture. The scripture is found at Acts 24:15. Here the Bible speaks of a resurrection of the “righteous and the unrighteous.” Many people find comfort in knowing they can see their loved ones again.
