Reflections of the Life

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (REVELATION: 21:4)

Our beloved dad, brother, granddad, cousin and friend L.B. Green, Jr. left this earthly life on July 25,2020. Now he has returned to the open arms of his Creator taking his last breaths at the Methodist North Hospital in Memphis, TN. He was the 2nd children born to the union of L.B. Green, Sr and Doris Newson Green in Tupelo, Mississippi on May 25, 1960. Later graduating from Tupelo High School soon after graduation he enlisted in the United State Army where he received honorable discharges.

L.B. Green confessed hope and faith in Christ at a very early age. He united with the members of White Hill Missionary Baptist Church, where he became a faithful attendee until his health began to fail. L.B was a devoted and loyal friend that you could count on. He also enjoyed watching all sports television or going to games enjoying them in person.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Our Belove L.B. is leaving behind to cherish his memories forever his children, Charita Marks and Torrandis Cummings, three grandchildren, Anaushia Marks, Ja-Braylin Marks, Ja-Brylon Marks all of Tupelo, Mississippi,  one sister; Mary Alice CHerry of St. Louis, Missouri., one brother; Bobby Green of Tupelo, Mississippi., two aunts Bessie Newson of California and his favorit Aunt, Lula Bowdry and a very special cousin; Izola Holliday  of Tupelo, MS whom he had a spical love for. Two nieces of St. Louis, Missouri and a host of other relatives and friends.
