PONTOTOC – Donald Joe Rogers, 61, of Pontotoc, MS passed away on August 4, 2020 after battling many health issues. He was born February 22, 1959, in Aurora, IL to Sadie Ann Fish Rogers and Donald Jack Rogers. Joe was self-employed as a concrete contractor for many years. He leaves behind a daughter Shawnda Rogers Black (Heath) of Pontotoc, MS, a son Kerry Joe Rogers (Kayla) of Pontotoc, MS, his father Donald Jack Rogers of Ecru, MS, a brother Rodney Rogers (Cheryl) of Ecru, MS, a half-sister Cindy Lawrence of Aurora, IL. Joe had 7 grandchildren Davis Rogers, Lexi Rogers, Cheyenne Black, Harlee Rogers, Haidyn Rogers, Kinsley Black, & Gabby Black. Joe has a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, a special best friend who also worked with him doing concrete and was like a brother to him Willie Dixon. He was proceeded in death by his mother Sadie Ann Fish Rogers, a sister Belinda Faith Rogers Clayton, a baby brother Billy Rogers, & all of his grandparents. He will be greatly missed by those he loved.
Graveside Service will be 1PM, Friday, August 7, 2020 at Edington Cemetery with Bro. Tyler Olsen officiating. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers: Richard Page, Jason Page, Michael Page, Rodney Leath, Michael Gregory and Timmy Giompoletti.
