Graveside service for William Randolph “Randy” Taylor, 83, are set for 1:00 pm Monday at Henry Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Smith officiating.

Randy died August 7, 2020 at his residence. He was born November 5, 1936 in Corinth, MS to the late William Everett Taylor and Marie Petty Lee. He was a 1954 graduate of Corinth High School, then attended Northeast and MS State University. He served in the US Navy for 3 years. He was a retired Design Engineer, having worked for Dana and Saucer-Sundstrand. Randy was a member of of First Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. He enjoyed fishing, camping, was an avid MSU fan and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Peggy Hinton Taylor; son, William Russell Taylor (Ashley); daughter, Elaine Taylor; grandchildren, Dalton Adams, Birdie Taylor, Dylan Adams; sister, Gail Norman; and a host of other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the First Baptist Church (Choir Fund) 501 Main St. Corinth, MS 38834.
