Charles Dante Wimberly, 58, of Calhoun City passed from this life at Baptist Calhoun Nursing Home in Calhoun City. Born on August 7, 1961 in Garland, Texas, Chuck was a son to the late Charles Raymond Wimberly and Vivian Vurtie Burks.
Chuck, a kind hearted man, left an impression on everyone he met because of the love he extended. Music brought joy into his life, especially country and gospel where he loved to sing along with the tune. Chuck’s extraordinary personality will be greatly missed by his family, and caregivers alike.
He is survived by his brother Mike (Debroah) Wimberly of Clarksdale, Mississippi; sister, Michele McGregor of Pittsboro Mississippi; two nephews: Michael David Bullard, and Jon Michael Wimberly; five nieces: Cindy Scott, Kimberly White, Mindy Anderson, Gina Plumb, and Wendy Grauer.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Raymond Wimberly and Vivian Vurtie Burks; sister, Linda Dell Cook.
The graveside service remembering Chuck’s life will take place on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 in the New Gauley Cemetery at 3:00PM with Bro. Ronnie Scott officiating. Markis Anderson, Khris Faulkner, Dylan Goodson, Ayden Grauer, Cannon Grauer, DJ Scott, Jon Michael Wimberly will carry Chuck to his final resting place.
