MEMPHIS TN – Vernie Edward Murrell, 74, passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 at his home. He loved his family, his kids, his grandkids, and his dogs. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a quiet man but once you got him to laughing, his laugh was contagious. He was a good man, with a very caring and giving heart. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his sons, Matthew and Joseph Murrell; his daughter, Jessica Mitchell; son-in-law, Freddy Mitchell; grandchildren, Jeremy and Josh Crum, Madyson Murrell, Christian Murrell, Conner Murrell, and Charlie Mitchell; special caregiver, Joyce Ivy; and three great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Wright; daughter, Katherine Crum; mother, Thelma Murrell; and father, Roy Murrell.
Graveside Services are private with Bro. Jody Riddle officiating.
