Billy Madden Pittman

February 21, 1934 – August 26, 2020

Funeral service for Billy Madden Pittman, 86, are set for 2:00pm Saturday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Philip Caples officiating. Burial will follow in the Tuscumbia Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 and Saturday from 1:00 to service time.

Billy died August 26, 2020 at his residence. He was born February 21, 1934 in Alcorn Co. MS to the late Walter Henry “Jake” and Ludie Dixon Pittman. He was of the Baptist faith. He worked as a logger, farmer, Eastside Planeing Mill, Wurlitzer and was retired from Leedo. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ezra Pittman.

Billy is survived by his wife of 64 years, Oma Ray Rutherford Pittman; daughter, Rita Parker (Alan); son, Randall Pittman (Ellon); sisters, Erva Wilbanks, Zudia Butler; grandchildren, Michael Parker (Hope), Eric Parker (Amanda), Alicia Watson (Joey), Kara Kyle (Josh), Kelly Pittman, and Alexis Pittman; great grandchildren, Kalie, Blakely, Ashley Stubelt, Brenna, Hannah, John, Mary, and Emily Parker; step great-grandchildren, Corey Watson (Hannah), Kaitlyn Watson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers; Timmy Wilbanks, Jay Hinton, Stanley Horton, Mark Horton, Elijah Hill, Joey Watson, Michael Parker, Eric Parker and Josh Kyle.

Mask and social distance guidelines will be in place.
