Columbus, MS – Donald Hugh Francisco, 78, passed away on September 1 , 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point, MS. He was born October 19, 1941 in Miami, Florida to Dorothy Small and Hugh Francisco. He was Self Employed as a Commercial Fisherman alongside his brother Harvey Francisco for 10 years. Donald was a veteran of 22 years in the United States Army having served 3 years in Vietnam, retiring as a 1st Sergeant. He married Barbara Ann Francisco in Texas who has since preceded him in death. Donald was a loving father, grandfather and brother. His hobbies were fishing and target shooting.

Survivors include two daughters; Robin Orthober of Slidell, LA and Kielie Juckem (David Keller) of Yorkville, IL, two sons; Johnny Lightfoot Francisco of Patlaka, FL and Neal Orthober of El Paso, TX, two grandaughters; Stephanie and Samantha Juckem and two great-grandchildren; Briar and Rilen Blankenhagen and one brother; Harvey C. Francisco (Cheryl) of Sanford, FL and his best friend Ann Bramlett. Preceding him in death were his parents; Hugh and Dorothy Small Francisco, one sister; Marie Babb and one brother; Wayne Francisco.

No memorial services are scheduled at this time. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
