Nancy Ann Lambert, 69 of Calhoun City, Mississippi passed from this life on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Rush Medical Center in Meridian; Mississippi. Born Tuesday, April 17, 1951 in Calhoun City, Mississippi, Nancy was the daughter of the late Joe Bailey Nix and Anne Louise Hamilton Nix.
Nancy, a retired seamstress, worked for the Kellwood garment manufacturing for many years before deciding to retire. Upon retirement, Nancy filled the days with her favorite mystery shows, playing the piano, and turning the pages of a captivating book. She placed her hope and trust in the Lord, and served as a member at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish Nancy's memory are son, Charlie Lambert of Calhoun City, Mississippi; two brothers: David Earl Nix of Calhoun City, Mississippi; Frank (Dessie) Nix of Pittsboro, Mississippi; one sister, Louise Annette Ivy of Calhoun City, Mississippi ; special nieces and nephews: Amy Jackson and her children Dana and Warren.
She was predeceased by her parents; Joe Bailey Nix and Anne Louise Hamilton Nix; two brothers: Lesley Joe Nix and George Wesley Nix.
A Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 4, 2020 in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery with Bro. Darrell Logan officiating. Pallbearers will be Warren Jackson, Bryan Nix, Chipper Nix, Christopher Nix, Elijah Nix, Jeff Nix, Paul Nix and Steven Nix. Honorary Pallbearers will be Pate Hubbard, Bailey Nix, Dale Nix and Robert Nix.
