Pheba, Mississippi – Mr. Thomas John "Tommy" Davidson was born October 27, 1935, in Norfolk, Virginia, the son of the late: Wyatt Bell and Marie Antoinette Davidson. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, retiring as an E-6 Staff Sergeant. He was also a member of the Mississippi Army National Guard. He retired after 30 years of service from Babcock & Wilcox Company in West Point, where he was a "B" Fitter Welder. He was a member of Pheba Baptist Church. He married Jessie Kate Sims Davidson on August 8, 1955, in Maben and she passed away April 1, 2011.
A Graveside Service will be held September 18, 2020 at Greenwood Cemetery with Reverend Terry Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point, Mississippi. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include one son, Johnny Davidson (Linda) of Vardaman; 9 grandchildren, Jeanie M. Laughlin (Philip), Shane Davidson (Laura), Trinity Davidson (Samantha), Tracy Davidson, Joshua Davidson, Sylvia Vaughn, Amanda Keeton, Christy Cross (Justin) and Jennifer Mulkey; and a host of great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents; his daughter, Christi Keeton; one son, Ricky Davidson; two sisters, Sylvia Clark and Ursula Springer; one great grandson Grayson Cross and his Step-Mother, Rachel Lumm.
Pallbearers will be Shane Davidson, Trinity Davidson, Joshua Davidson, Hunter Griggs, Conner Griggs and Frankie Keeton.
