Richard Covin Chaffin, 53, died Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at UAB
Hospital in Birmingham, AL Mr. Chaffin was born on February 22, 1967
to Billy Joe and Richie Lovell Chaffin House. He was a lifelong resident of
Hamilton, MS,
He was a graduate of Hamilton High School and a member of Aberdeen
First Pentecostal Church. He was a self-employed truck driver.
Mr. Chaffin is survived by his wife, Lisa Holliday Chaffin; one daughter,
Lea Frembgen (Travis) of Tibee, MS; two sons, William Chaffin (Tori)
of Hamilton, MS and Joe Chaffin of Hamilton, MS; one brother, Steve
Chaffin (Pam) of Hamilton, MS; three grandchildren: Delilah Frembgen,
Khloe Chaffin and MacKenzie Chaffin. He was preceded in death by his
parents.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 26, at Chaffin
Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Bro. Randall Carmeans officiating. Pallbearers
will be William Chaffin, Westley Fikes, Terry Derrick, Jimmy Funderburk,
Hank Harrington and Danny Holloway. There will be a visitation Saturday
morning from 10:00 until service time at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home
