Amy Belinda Collins Lopez, 57, died suddenly Friday, September 25, 2020, in her home in the Concord Community of Bruce. The daughter of the late John Robert and Faye Murphree Collins, Amy was born November 11, 1962.
Amy graduated from Bruce High School, Northwest Mississippi Community College, and Mississippi State University, where she majored in both music and math. Amy loved music and sang the lead in high school and college musicals, as well as in her church choir. She taught high school math courses at Coffeeville and at Calhoun City before she was disabled by a stroke at the age of 32. She was a member of Ellard Baptist Church. Amy became a very private person, spending time reading, listening to music and taking care of her animals.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, September 27, 2020, at 2:00 P.M., at Concord Cemetery with visitation bring from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the graveside at Concord Cemetery. Bro. Darrell Logan will be sharing the words of comfort and promise from God's Word, and Anthony Bollinger will sing Amy's favorite gospel songs, "Beulah Land" and I"ll Rise Again".
She leaves behind, never to forget her, sister Suzette (Rodney) Logan, nieces Jana (Philip) Denning and Jackie Logan, great niece Addy Kate, great nephew Logan and 23 first cousins.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."
