Daphne Knight

Daphne Ann Westwood Knight, 84, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020, at Traceway Retirement Community in Tupelo. She was born in Margate, England, on February 25, 1936, to Walter Andrew Westwood and Florance Mable West Westwood.
She loved Jesus and had a servant’s heart. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, hot tea, watching birds, and gardening. She cherished teaching Sunday school in her earlier years. She loved her dog and spending time with family and friends.
A time of visitation will be Thursday, October 1, 2020, at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Booneville Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Friday, October 2, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Jumpertown Cemetery. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her children, Richard Bean (Melody) of Kansas, David Alexander of Rantoul, IL, Michael Alexander (Sandy) of Oswego, IL, and Calvin Knight (Kim) of Tishomingo, MS; Donna Arnold of Tishomingo, Kathy Alexander of Corinth, Michelle Kaus (Doug) of Aurora, IL, Sharon McMurren (Bob) of Clare, IL, Becky Janes (Stevie) of Gallatin, TN, and Mary Ann Martin (Jason) of Booneville; Virgina Nell Davis (James), Doug Knight (Bella), Jerial Knight (Annie), Allen Knight, Cheryl Gaul (Jerry), Connie Wills (Will), Jimmie Sue Saign, and Victoria Knight. She also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Knight; her parents; daughter, Judy Keown; step-son, Ray Knight; step-daughter, Cindy Knight; and a brother, Ronald Westwood.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Janes, Keith Arnold, Blake Knight, Asher Martin, Chris Alexander, Mike Alexander, Bryson Knight, Josh Knight, Josh Arnold, and Xzavier Singleton.
