Sheila Beam Diaz, 57, passed away Monday, October 5, 2020, at Courtyards Nursing Home in Fulton. She was born April 6, 1963 to Jimmie G. Beam and Ruby Beam. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. She was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force after serving for 10 years. She graduated from Smithville High School in 1981. Sheila worked in Civil Service for 7 years. She enjoyed quilting, being outdoors, and exercising. She was very fond of the mountains. She enjoyed taking Andrew to the park when he was young and watching him grow up.
A graveside service will be 10:00 am on Tuesday October 6, 2020 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Lloyd Minor officiating. Senter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her mother, Ruby Beam; husband, Robert Diaz, Jr.; son, Jimmie Andrew Diaz all of Smithville; brothers: Ronald Beam, Mickey Beam, Timothy Beam.
