James Earl Henry (61) passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 at his nephews home in Baldwyn. He was born in Arkansas on November 11,1951. He was the youngest of five children of the late Jack and Lois Potts Henry.
James is survived by an older sister, Marilea Henry Gosa; his ex wife, Jeannett Nations Henry; his twin sons, Jack and James Edward Henry; 10 nieces and nephews; 18 great nieces and nephews and 7 great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Edward Henry; his mother, Jewell Lois Potts Henry; his brothers, Johnny Edward and William Douglas and his sister, Carolyn Sue Henry Baldwin.
James left school early because of educational difficulties, but got enough education to join the Navy at 19 and was honorably discharged. He worked mostly in construction and mechanics because he preferred non structured employment venues. James had to retire at 50 years old because of chronic heart failure. He had 2 open heart surgeries and other medical difficulties which did not keep him down. He continued an active retirement until the corona virus made him a prime target. James never caught Covid 19, the effort to avoid contamination was a trial to his once active life. He died peacefully in his sleep after a long battle with medical problems at his nephew Walter Gosa's home in Baldwyn.
