Melvin Dwight Wilemon, 68, passed away at home in Booneville on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. He was born on May 20, 1952, in Booneville to Dewey F. Wilemon and Neva Azena Downs Wilemon. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, traveling, and riding four wheelers.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at Booneville Funeral Home with Dr. Matt Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Thursday. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Shuttle (Matt) and Katie Long (John) of Alpharetta, GA; his father, Dewey Wilemon of Booneville; a brother, Leon Wilemon from Dickson, TN; 4 grandchildren; and a special nephew, Andrew Wilemon of Booneville.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Azena Wilemon.
