Graveside Service for Ilene Langston Cooksey, 77, is set for 1:00 pm Sunday at Danville Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Charlie Cooper officiating. Family will receive friends Sunday from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Memorial Funeral Home.
Ilene died October 23, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. She was born June 6, 1943 in Alcorn Co. MS to the late Lesley “Les” Langston and Laura Mae Inman Langston. She was a retired factory worker. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Aaron Langston, Jack Langston, Duley Langston, Ray Langston; sisters, Eva Cartwright, Janice Cox, Irene Johnson, and Betty Brooks.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles Cooksey; sister, Sheila Hales; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Here the Bible speaks of a “resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous.” Yes, one day in the near future, God will fulfill this promise and bring our loved ones back to life.
