PONTOTOC – Maxie G. Tidwell, 80, passed away Monday, November 9, 2020 at NMMC-Tupelo, MS. He was a retired mechanic or as he called it piddling. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and loved to fish.
He is survived by his daughter, Marie Cossey (Randy); his sons, James Tidwell (Cathy) and Johnny Tidwell; grandson, Cody Tidwell, and his granddaughter, Madison Tidwell.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Phyllis Tidwell; his daughter, Pamala Tidwell; and his son, Gene Tidwell.
Service will be Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 10AM at Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Mike Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Randy Cossey, Scott Roberson, Calvin Swindle, and James Tidwell.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 10th 4-8PM and Wednesday, November 11th 9AM until service time.
