Becker- Barbara Ann Barrett Raper, 71, passed away at Arrington Assisted Living in Columbus on Friday, November 13, 2020. She was born in Monroe County on April 30, 1941 to the late Elbert and Opal Jacobs Barrett. After attending school in Becker, Barbara married Claudell Raper. She was a devoted homemaker to her husband and 4 children. She enjoyed cooking for her family and going to garage sales. More than anything, it was her time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, that she enjoyed the most.

She is survived by her childred, Peggy Dilley (Jim), Oklahoma, Cindy Brawner, Illinois, Keith Raper (Lynn), Illinois and Floyd Raper (Bonnie), Becker; sisters, Evelyn Thompson (J.C.), Becker and Clytee Raper (Leon), Columbus; brothers, Butch Barrett (Linda), Becker, Paul Barrett (Carolyn), Becker and Steve Barrett (Mary), Georgia; grandchildren, Kaylin Raper, Rya Raper, Ben Raper, Rachel Kauzlarich, Carrie Dilley, Amber Heisterberg and Amy Jones, 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother, Charles Barrett.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:15 PM on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Camp Cemetery with Bro. Randy Raper officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Visitation will be at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory from 1 PM until 2 PM. There will be a procession from the funeral home to Camp Cemetery for the 2:15 PM service.
