Joan Young

Joan Young (81) passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the Methodist Germantown Hospital in Memphis. Born Lillie Joan Crawford on October 23,1939, she is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Stanley and Ruby Pauline Crawford; stepsons David Young IV and Matthew Young and grandson Zachary (Stephanie) Reed. Affectionately known as GG to her blended family, she leaves behind her husband of 40 years, William David Young III; their children; Robert (Cindy) Reed, Michael Reed, Tammy (William) DeShields, Matthew (Kimberly) Dulin, Gina (Michael) Murchison, Michael Young and Amy Young Clampitt; grandchildren; Cole (Ashley) Reed, Jamie (Darryl) McHan, Taylor DeShields, Casey Dulin, Kaitlyn Dulin, Charlie Dulin, Bailey Dulin, Hagen Matthew Dulin, Tyler (Jessica) Murchison, Danielle (Joshua) Harrison, Cole Young, Nicholas Young, Jesse Clampitt and Savannah Clampitt; great grandchildren; Aiden Reed, Addyson Reed, Zane Reed, Ana Reed, Bentley Reed, Harper Reed, Jaxson McHan, Brooke McHan, Cody McHan, Presley Dulin, Mason Bobbitt, Parker Bobbitt, Devyn Murchison, Emmalyn Keith, Easton Harrison, Jasper Harrison, Jaden Harrison and Kenzie Clampitt. Joan graduated from Frayser High School and was a member of Bartlett Hills Baptist Church. She will rest beside her parents in Jumpertown Cemetery. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Jumpertown Cemetery.
