Lynn Nix, 76, passed away on November 13, 2020, in Water Valley, MS. She was born on August 22, 1944, in West Palm Beach, FL, to John Massey and Wilma Stribling Massey. Lynn graduated from Bruce High School in 1962. She spent over twenty years caring for others as a home health caregiver, while also serving as a loving mother, sister, and grandmother. Lynn had 5 children, Vince, Brooks, Jay, Sharissa, and Alecia. Lynn was best known for her infectious smile and amazing artistic abilities. She is survived by Vince Nix – son, Brooks Nix – son, Sharissa Greer – daughter, Alecia Nix – daughter, John Massey – brother, Jeannie Reid – sister, Susan Harris – sister, and Angie Adair – sister. Lynn is preceded in death by John Massey – father, Wilma Brasher – mother, Polly Hill – sister, and Jay Nix – son, 4 grandchildren, Caitln Nix, Jennifer Nix, Sara Greer and Nathan Greer.
At this time, no public memorial service will be held due to the nature of Lynn's passing and out concern for the safety of all friends and family. There will be a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date. Friends are urged to sign the digital guest book and share a memory and photo of Lynn on the Parkermemorialfuneralhomes.com website. People who have signed the guest book will be notified when the Celebration of Life occurs.
