A Graveside service for Geneva Haynie Parker, 60, will be held 1:00 pm Monday at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Glen, MS with John Stephens officiating.
Geneva died on November 18, 2020. She was born on May 22, 1960 in Corinth to the late Cecil Haynie and Verble Wilson Haynie of the Strickland Community. She married Duran Parker in March of 1990. She was a housewife who enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Haynie and parents-in-law, James and Juanita Parker.
She is survived by her husband, Duran Parker; mother, Verble Haynie; sister, Wanda Haynie; daughter, Melissa Moore Schierwagen (Jeff) of Rawlins, WY; son, Josh Parker (Cassandra) of Strickland; daughter, Lindsey Parker Nelms (Chad) of Biggersville; step-daughter, Dana Parker McLain; step-son, Andy Parker all of Corinth; grandchildren Lauren Schierwagen, Trevor Schierwagen, Ayla Nelms, Emma Nelms, Levi Parker, Rylee Parker and Jayda Parker; and a host of other family and friends.
