Vivian S. Saunders, age 83, of Water Valley, MS died Friday, November 20, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. She was born August 6, 1937, in Clarksdale, MS to the late Toy and Vivian (Monies) Smith. After graduating high school, Vivian continued her education ultimately receiving a Phd in Education.
The family will hold a private ceremony for Vivian in Pleasantville, Iowa at a later date.
Vivian was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Sidney Saunders.
Dear Saunders Family, I am deeply sorry for your loss, and would like to share a scripture with you. The scripture is found at Acts 24:15, here the Bible speaks of a “resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous.” Yes, God has promised to bring loved ones, who have passed, back to life. Many people look forward to when this promise from God will be fulfilled, and find it comforting to know that they will be able to see their loved ones again. I hope this message finds you well, and brings the family comfort during this difficult time.
