Mr. James “Jimmy” Naron Johnson, 84, died Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford, MS. The funeral service will be held Monday, November 30, 2020, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Born in Banner, MS to the late Mack and Willa Mae Chapman Johnson, Staff Sergeant Johnson served in the United States Air Force. He was the owner of Johnson’s Furniture.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy “Dot” Johnson of Oxford, MS; two daughters, Rebecca Robinson and her husband, Ronny, of Harrison, AR and Jimmie Ann Johnson of Oxford, MS; raised like sons, Shane Onsby and Mack Vaughn both of Oxford, MS; one granddaughter, Karson Onsby of Oxford, MS.

In honor of Staff Sergeant Johnson’s service, the flag of the United States Air Force will be flown at Waller Funeral Home.
