Ms. Hattie M. Smith, 69, transitioned on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Methodist Healthcare in Olive Branch, MS.
Hattie Mae Smith was born on October 26, 1951, in Victoria MS to the late Ruth Sumler Smith and Frank Smith.
She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Newell M.B. Church where she was a faithful member.
She was preceded in death by two brothers; JD Smith, Frank Smith Jr; two sisters, Beverly Bennem, Jessie Bennem, and life partner, Ananias Garmon
She leaves to cherish her loving memory; five sons, David Smith, Terry Smith, Chad Smith, Ananias Smith, Jose (Saucery) Smith; four sisters, Mary (George) Martin, Maudie Riley, Dorothy Smith, Pinkie Bennem; two brothers, Albert Smith, Lee Russel (Susie) Smith; 21 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 4-6p.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Holly Springs. Burial will take place at Mt. Newell Memorial Gardens in Red Banks, MS. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs is in charge of the arrangements.
