Ryan Clay “Monty” Montgomery was born on June 11th, 1989, in Corinth, MS. He died on December 8th, 2020 at his home in Tupelo, MS. Ryan was 31 years old.

Graveside service for Ryan Clay “Monty” Montgomery, are set for 3:00pm Thursday at Olive Hill Cemetery in Guys, TN, with Bro. Tim Dixon officiating.

A receiving of family and friends for Ryan will be held Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Memorial Funeral Home.

Ryan was an avid hunter. He enjoyed time spent outdoors with his family and friends, often in search of turkey, deer, or duck. Hunting is in the Montgomery blood. He never met a stranger and was often seen with a big smile. He had an endearing spirit that brought him many friends. Children loved him and some nicknamed him “My Ryan”. To settle any arguments, his family loving referred to him as “Our Ryan”.
Ryan enjoyed playing baseball through high school. Ryan was a 2007 graduate of McNairy Central High school and obtained a degree in Precision Manufacturing and Machining Technology from Northeast Community College in 2016. He was employed by Homestretch Furniture Maker in Nettleton, Ms.

Ryan's life was a testament to God’s redeeming love. He was an encourager in Christ, helping others who were in need of God’s refuge.

Preceded in death by his grandparents; Clay and Mildred Cooper, Pat and Helen Montgomery; and his cousin Casey Montgomery.

He is survived by his wife Louanna Montgomery; his children Rylan and Bennett Montgomery; parents Jeff and Carolyn Montgomery; and sisters Ashley (Clay) Talley and Angie Montgomery; nieces Linleigh Anna Carol, Emily Talley; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Brock and DuJuana Frazier Thompson; sister-in-law, Brittany Nooner (Nathaniel) and their daughter Thea Grace; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Coty Prather, Hunter Gray, Clay Talley, Nathanial Nooner, Austin Chittom, and Rodney Jones.

Contributions in Ryan's memory may be made to Brother Brian Misson, 1616 Second Ave. North, Birmingham, Alabama 35203 US; and United Christian Academy, 1253 Hwy 2 West, Corinth, Mississippi US.
